Leo von Leinzell is a stunning 3 year old sable, long-haired German Shepherd. With his luxuriously fluffy black-and-brown coat, gentle personality and winning smile, Leo dreams of nothing more than cozying up beside you for endless pets and head scratches. He's happiest right by his human's side, ready to become your loyal shadow, lap warmer and best buddy, all rolled into one. He is intelligent and eager to please, and he proudly shows off his skills with sit, down and paw commands. His previous family (who weren't able to keep him) told us that he is housebroken and good in the home. On walks around the rescue, he is attentive, staying right by your side with excellent leash manners.  In playgroups, he continues to blossom socially, particularly with calm, friendly female dogs, but tends to hang out mostly with people.
